When you start talking to brokers, ask them for an opportunity to visit their sales meeting or ask to go on a caravan with them. The whole point of this exercise is to see what the work environment is like and how the people you work with are.
One thing to be sure to ask is if they have a mentoring program. Is there going to be someone in the office to help you out as you begin your career? Even the best training isn't sufficient if you don't have someone you can turn to as you are starting your career.

Another important aspect to consider is finding the right office environment. You want to be in a place where you feel you fit into the culture best. Each office has its own personality and you want to be in a place where you are comfortable.
Finally, one of the most important aspect of any brokerage company is their training. Once you have your license and are ready to get out in the world, it's very important for you to be with a structured company so you'll get off to a good start.
